The McD's have been everywhere this past week! Here they are on the Today Show with "Lucky Dog". They have been honored to represent NASCAR and their latest safety features. Rest assured our drivers are safe. We all hope they have a restful week before Talladega. BTW who is going to be there? Would love to hear from you.

Wow! What a ride for McD yesterday @ Luke Air Force Base! He joined the Top Hats for a flight around the valley and was in the air for about an hour and a half.
Meet McD on Saturday at the NAPA Merchandise Transporter. He'll have merchandise (finally) and will be signing autographs. Can't wait to see everyone there.

McFlippin

Wow! What a day? I can always count on Michael for some excitement. Thank God for all the safety that goes into this sport. We were very blessed that he was able to walk away from that one. As his wife, everyone is always asking me if I get nervous when he goes out on the track, and my answer has always been no. I guess I will rethink that now. He has never given me anything to worry about before. I have seen him have a few minor wrecks before but nothing like the one that happened on Friday afternoon. I was watching qualifying from pit lane on the jumbo-tron with his PR representative, Jennifer. When I saw him complete his first lap, I thought he was done and started walking towards the hauler, but much to my surprise he continued on and that's when I looked back up as he was just hitting the wall. My stomach dropped, then he started the barrel rolls and my heart just stopped. This was the kind of crash that you see on Speed channel as they are talking about what a great driver he "was". Luckily Jennifer was with me and she got me right over to the medical center. They informed me that he was okay right away. What an amazing blessing! He just has a few bumps and bruises and is doing great. He is ready to go for the race today and I can't wait to watch him get back out there and make his fans proud. Not without a kiss and a good hug before he gets in the car though. Thank you all for the support and caring thoughts. We are greatfull to have such a wonderful group of fans following his career. Watch today as he will be fighting his way through the field in the #00.

First Race In The Bank

Well we made it through our first race! It was an awesome day for the #00 Aarons Dream Machine. It took me a little bit to get going but my team made awesome changes all day and we were fast when we needed to be. If it wasn't for a late race flat we probably would have ran in the top 20. Making my Nextel Cup debut was really special and it was great having my family there. There are tons of people that have made this all possible and I am extremely greateful for the oppurtunity and everyone who has been apart of this 20 year journey. That's right I started racing at age 3. I hope you will all contiune to blog. I do read all the notes; though I can't always respond, I enjoy seeing all the encouragement. Off to Texas!

Thanks

Getting Close!

Well the time is coming, in two weeks I will make my Sprint Cup Debut in the #00 MWR Toyota Camry at Martinsville. I have been testing a bunch over the last few weeks. This week I spent two days at Caraway, a Short track in North Carolina. I love short tracks; you can really drive the car hard. Next week we will do some more testing. I am very anxious to get going with my season. I have spent the last 6 weeks with the team and trying to learn as much as I can without being in the driver’s seat. It is rainy here at Bristol which is good for us; we need to get all these MWR cars in the top 35. Well keep your fingers crossed; we need a great race this weekend. The website will see a lot more updates once I get running. Thanks for all the support.

California Love

Hello everyone. Well Daytona was not the result we where looking for, but we ran all the laps. It was a good learning experience; I knocked the dust off a little bit and got some more superspeedway time. We really didn't have a bad car just some misfortune. I kept blowing the pitstops by coming in too fast and over shooting the box, which cost us a lot of time. I also didn't have radio communication so that made working on the car during pitstops hard. Anyways I am here in California just got back from an appearance at Toyota HQ in Torrance. It was a lot of fun, we got to meet a lot of the employees and there families. For the rest of the week I will be hanging out with my team, doing a little media, and watching my ARCA buddies in the Truck race and pulling for our #00 in the cup race. Keep cheering on the MWR drivers we need everyone to keep making races. Points, points, points,

Thanks

Ready To Race

I am writing from sunny Daytona Beach, FL. I feel like I have been here all month. I can't wait to get back into the race car. It has been fun here so far though. I have done a lot of media, TV, radio, etc. I also guest commentated the ARCA race for Speed Channel, which was a lot of fun. Saturday qualifying was very exciting to watch Michael and David get into the race. Now we need DJ to race his way in on Thursday, which I know he will do. It is awesome to see how well the team is working together and how far they have come in such a short period of time. It is cool that I can be apart of all this. With all that said, I am ready to race. Nationwide practice does not start until Wednesday but I can't wait to get behind the wheel. We signed a new partner this week for the Nationwide race “RIMCO”. RIMCO has come on board as the primary sponsor of the #00 MWR Toyota Camry. RIMCO is a new division of Aaron's that retails and leases after market tires and wheels. Check out gorimco.com it’s your one stop location for wheels, tires, accessories and more for less. Thanks for all the continued support and make sure you cheer on all the MWR drivers on Thursday.

Thanks

NASCAR - HERE WE COME

Hey McD fans!
Michael is really excited about moving into NASCAR and seeing what we all have to say (to each other) about it. I am sooo looking foward to the "race parties" at Pullanos and other places you all will be. Let's let each other know where we are going on race day so we can all meet each other. Also, I will let you know when Michael will be here and where he will be to "meet and greet". Michael (and I) are so excited about the fans, not only in Phoenix, but all over the country! Let's all keep in touch and share our excitement with each other.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year. Jami and I had a great off season, we took a vacation to Jamaica which is really awesome, we had Christmas at home with our friends, and spent the New Year up in Blowing Rock. I am just really excitied about the New Year and I can't wait for the first race. Got a busy month a head off me with testing and the Rolex 24 Hour. Stay Tuned
